Guide your snake around the screen to eat the food blips. Every bite makes your snake grow one segment longer and adds to your score. The longer you survive, the higher you climb.
On desktop, steer with the arrow keys or WASD. On a phone or tablet, swipe in any direction or use the on-screen pad. Press the spacebar to pause and resume at any time.
There's no finish line - Snake is an endless chase for a high score. The game speeds up as you grow, so the real challenge is keeping control of a long snake in a shrinking space.
Avoid running into the walls or your own tail - either one ends the run. Try to keep your turns wide and leave yourself an escape route. Your best score is saved in your browser, so you can always try to beat it.
